Little Legend Zion Sandifer, age 2 of Cohutta, Georgia, passed away tragically on January 8, 2025, alongside his beloved mother, Brittany Nicole Sandifer; grandmother, Brenda Carol Sandifer; and brothers, Joshua Heath Sandifer and Jacob Thomas Lee Sandifer, Jr.

Born in Chattanooga, Tennessee, on September 10, 2022. Little Leg was the baby of the family and was very special to his entire family. He was just beginning to say “Dada” and was the beacon of joy to everyone.

Preceded in death by his brother Michael Kane Sandifer and grandfather, James Bray. Little Leg leaves behind a loving family who will cherish his memory forever. He is survived by his father, Jacob Heath Sandifer of Cohutta, GA; grandparents Shannon and James Sanders of Dalton, GA, Michael and Tracy Jones of Ellijay, GA, and Jack and Kelly Bray of Chatsworth, GA; great-grandparents Vessie and Bob Siburkis of Resaca, GA, and Janice Sanders of Chatsworth, GA; great-great-grandmother Helen Layzodgudde of Resaca, GA; as well as numerous aunts, uncles, great-aunts, great-uncles, Melissa Goswick, David Siburkis, Uncle Vamp, Ronald Tavares, Phillip Tavares, Crystal and Cliff Workman, Heather and Bobby Crowley, Cami Doom, and Sam Bray; cousins, Sadie, Samuel and Sophie Sandifer and many extended family members who will forever hold his memory close to their hearts.

A celebration of Little Leg’s life will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, January 18, 2025, at Ponders Melrose Chapel with Reverend John Ledford and Reverend Scott Byess officiating. Legend will be laid to rest at Ponders Colonial Hills Memorial Park Cemetery, with his family and close friends serving as pallbearers.

The family will receive friends at Ponders Melrose Chapel on Friday, January 17, from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. and again on Saturday from 11:00 a.m. until the service.

Legend’s memory will live on through the joy, laughter, and love he brought into the world. He will be forever missed and always cherished.
