Veterans Business Mixer will be held on Thursday, March 6, 6 p.m. at The Tap House in St. Elmo. The event will include live music, food and brews and create new opportunities.
There is no cover charge and free appetizers will be available. There will be a full food and bar menu for purchase.
Original songs will be performed by songwriters and veterans. Featured will be Steve Dean, writer of "Watching You", "Round About Way" and more. Also performing will be Josh Wheeler and local veteran musicians.
While Freedom Sings USA’s core mission is to provide songwriting and music-arts programs for veterans, organizers also believe that music can be a catalyst for bringing communities together.
If you are a veteran business-owner, an aspiring business owner or with an organization that focuses on veteran advocacy, you are invited to join a special after-hours mixer – hosted by Freedom Sings USA and The Tap House (in the heart of St. Elmo).
By coming together as veterans, entrepreneurs, musicians, artists, healthcare professionals and advocates, we have the skills, talents, and resources to create a community of support for all who serve this country, said officials.
