James “Jimmy” Edward Leeth, Jr.

James “Jimmy” Edward Leeth, Jr., 55, of Rossville, Georgia, passed away on Friday, February 14, 2025.

He was born in Chattanooga, and grew up in the Rossville area. He graduated from Rossville High School Class of 1987 and attended Shorter College. Jimmy was a professional golfer and Instructor. He also managed Lupton City Golf Course. Jimmy enjoyed golfing, politics, and trivia.

He was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Erby and Annie Lee Leeth; maternal grandparents, Byron and Grace Drummond.

Those left to cherish his memory are his parents, Jim Leeth Sr. and Becky Drummond Leeth; brothers, Shane Leeth and Kent Leeth; three nieces, Jessica Turner, Hannah Leeth, and Sarah Smith; nephew, Keegan Leeth, and several other family members and friends.

The family will receive friends at Lane Funeral Home and Crematory South Crest Chapel on Tuesday, Feb. 18, from 4-8 p.m.

A Celebration of Life will be held at 1 p.m. on Wednesday, Feb. 19, in the funeral home chapel.
