The American Cancer Society announces that Cole Webster, president of Barn Nursery and president of Lana's Love, will be the recipient of the prestigious 2025 Dr. Headrick Distinguished Award.

Mr. Webster will be honored at the annual Gala of Hope on Nov. 25 at the Westin in Chattanooga.

"Cole Webster is being recognized for his unwavering commitment to supporting children and families in our community battling cancer," officials said. "His dedication to providing comfort, joy and practical assistance has made a profound impact on countless lives.
He embodies the motto that 'no child or family is left unnoticed during a time of stress and worry.' His passion lies in offering children and their family’s opportunities for moments of fun and laughter, free from financial burden, amidst their challenging journeys.

"Lana's Love, was established by his parents, Jim and Cindy Webster, following the loss of their daughter, Lana, to leukemia. As president, Cole has further strengthened the foundation’s commitment and strives to create moments of joy, provide practical resources and ensure that no family faces their journey alone.

"Furthermore, he proactively identifies and addresses community needs, offering comprehensive support to those facing hardship. Cole’s giving heart is not limited to just the foundation, but you will see the support of the Barn Nursery throughout the community from sponsoring other nonprofits to donating plants and even coordinating with others to help the hurricane victims."

"Cole's tireless efforts and compassionate heart exemplify the spirit of the Dr. Headrick Distinguished Award," said Cindy Rix, senior development manager. "His dedication to easing the burdens of families affected by cancer is truly inspiring. We are thrilled to recognize his remarkable contributions at the Gala of Hope."

"The American Cancer Society Gala of Hope is a premier event dedicated to raising vital funds for cancer research, patient services and prevention programs," officials said.

The theme for the 2025 Gala is “The Glitz, The Glamor, The Giving.” A night of Hollywood Glamor, will also include the award presentation for Mr. Webster.
