This administration treats governance like sport rather than service. They prioritize political victories over functional systems.
Meanwhile, regular Americans just want mail that arrives, teachers who educate effectively, and the stability previous generations could count on. These basics shouldn't be partisan issues.
The aggressive dismantling of institutions using "chainsaws and sledgehammers" when careful reform might be warranted shows poor stewardship. Short-term political wins create long-term societal costs.
Those celebrating this approach fail to recognize they're weakening the very systems that enable their own success. Eventually, when the infrastructure of a functional society collapses, everyone loses - including those who thought themselves immune to the consequences.

John, you're spot on in your observation. Our lack of leadership and accountability causes real suffering. We have politicians that are looking short term and the consequences are turning out to be a disaster.
They aren't really going after the real waste either, they are cutting and damaging the parts of the institutions that do have positive impact and make things better for everybody.

Please, turn your TVs off and step away from the ledge. President Trump has only been in office less than 60 days and is actually doing things previous Presidents have often promised and failed to do.......cutting spending and reforming the government to be more efficient.
It will be a long process and if you painfully endured Biden's last four years of losing, you can surely hang on for the next four years of winning.
As for me, I am buckled up and strapped in with a big ol' bag of popcorn because this a gonna be a fun ride of winning with President Trump at the helm.
