Individual Charged With Criminal Impersonation - And Other East Ridge Police Calls

Day Shift March 26: A Squad

25-003213 – 5300 BLK Ringgold Road – Suspicious Vehicle / Assist Other Agency / Arrest
Police observed a suspicious vehicle and spoke with the occupants. After a short investigation, a man was charged with Criminal Impersonation after he provided a fake name and date of birth to avoid arrest.
Police found that he had a probation violation warrant through Walker County. He was transported to the Hamilton County Jail without incident.

25-003043 – 500 BLK Benson Dr – Stolen Auto Recovery

The 2014 Kia Optima was recovered in Chattooga County and the driver and listed suspect was arrested. The owner was notified, and the vehicle was removed from NCIC.

25-003189 – 700 BLK Marley Way – Warrant Service
Following a License Plate Reader hit, a wanted suspect was located at her residence and taken into custody for numerous outstanding warrants out of Sessions Court.

25-003182 – 1400 BLK Mack Smith Road – Suspicious Person
Police were called to the restaurant on a reported party panhandling on premises. Officers spoke with the man who said he was walking and talking to customers but denied asking for money. Police also spoke with the manager who requested the party be trespassed from the location.

25-003192 – 6600 BLK Ringgold Road – Harassment -
Police were called to the motel on a report of harassment. Upon arrival police spoke with complainant who said her former boss had been following her, taking photos of her vehicle, and sending to them to her ex-husband.

25-003197 – 6500 BLK Ringgold Road – Suspicious Activity
Police spoke with a tenant at the who was concerned her room was being “bugged”. She stated the room phone was missing 14 buttons and worked sporadically. She also noted that her A/C unit had a wire sticking out of it. Officers advised her to contact the front desk to discuss getting a new phone and inquire about the A/C Unit.

25-003196 – 1300 BLK Boyd Street - Disorder Prevention
A caller requested police stand by while he checked why his tenant's water bill was so high. He and his current tenant had a verbal altercation the previous day and wanted police to keep the peace. No disorder occurred while officers were on the scene.

25-003188 – 3400 BLK Gail Drive - Burglary in Progress
Police were informed of previous calls regarding the reporting party having mental health issues. Upon arrival, police observed a male, later identified as the reporting party, who stated the burglars were still inside the residence. Police cleared the apartment and found no one inside.

Night Shift March 26: C Squad

25-003204 – 100 BLK Arnold Drive – Disorder / Criminal Trespass
Police responded to a disorder at this residence and found several individuals in an argument. The homeowner requested his daughter’s ex-boyfriend to be criminally trespassed from the residence. Police trespassed the party and escorted him off the property.

25-003207 – 100 BLK Arnold Drive – Disorder / Arrest
Police returned to Arnold Drive for a disorder and found the previously trespassed party had returned to the residence. He was taken into custody, charged with Criminal Trespass, and transported to the Hamilton County Jail.

25-003205 – 6500 Ringgold Road – Rollover Crash with Injuries
Police responded to a crash with injuries on Ringgold Road. Officers located a disabled SUV in the roadway. Police also located a red pick-up truck that had rolled over in a nearby parking lot. Hamilton County EMS responded to the location and treated two individuals for minor injuries.

25-003208 – 601 Justice Way – Warrant Service
While in custody at the Hamilton County Jail, a woman was served with two Forfeiture Capias warrants through the City of East Ridge. The original charges for the warrants were Possession of Methamphetamine and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.

25-003216 – 500 BLK S Crest Road – Assist Other Agency
ERPD and ERFD units assisted Chattanooga with an active fire on Missionary Ridge. The fire was contained after several hours of work.

25-003217- 4214 Ringgold Road – Warrant Service –
The Walker County Sherriff's Office arrested a party for an Alias Capias warrant through the City of East Ridge. The original charge for the warrant was Driving on a Revoked License. A hold was placed at the Walker County Jail.

25-003211 – 600 BLK Frawley Road – Property Damage / Arrest
Police responded to the report of a damaged mailbox and street sign. Based on the evidence, Police determined a Hyundai Elantra was responsible and began searching the area. The vehicle was located at a residence on Camp Jordan Road and the driver was identified. Due to the medical requirements, the suspect was given citations in lieu of arrest for Failure to Exercise Due Care and Leaving the Scene of an Accident.

25-003214 – 5500 Ringgold Road – Suspicious Person
Police observed a female walking on Ringgold Rd and conducted a consensual encounter. The woman was identified and was found to have an extraditable warrant out of Fannin County. She was transported to the Hamilton County Jail and a hold was placed on her.
