Clayborn “Buddy” O’Neal Reeves, Jr., of Soddy Daisy, completed his journey in this life on Saturday, March 29, 2025.

Buddy grew up in Middle Valley where he played baseball. He was a graduate of Hixson High School. Buddy loved camping and hunting at his cabin with his friends and family. He loved taking his boat out on the lake and summers on the beach. Married for 43 years, he was a proud father and Paw Paw. Buddy will be remembered as a good friend with an infectious spirit and lots of joyful memories. He considered himself lucky and grateful that he had lived a good life.

He was a plumber for 43 years where he spent 23 years owning his own business, Reeves Plumbing Repair.

Buddy was preceded in death by his father, Clayborn Reeves and sisters, Janice Norwood and Charlotte Curtis.

Survivors include his wife, Karen Reeves; daughter, Hailey Reeves; granddaughter, Aspen; mother, Blondena Reeves; and sister, Dianne Harvey.

In lieu of flowers, you may make a donation to a charity of your choice.

A visitation for Buddy will be held on Tuesday, April 1, from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Chattanooga Funeral Home-North Chapel, 5401 Highway 153, P.O. Box 9, Hixson, Tn. 37343. A funeral service will follow the visitation starting at 1 p.m.

The family will then proceed to Hamilton Memorial Gardens for the committal, 5351 TN-153, Chattanooga, Tn. 37343.
