St. Nicholas School invites the community to join them for the “Wave Runner,” a fun-filled morning with different race events, on March 8 at 9 a.m., hosted in Chattanooga’s East Brainerd neighborhood at 7525 Min Tom Dr.
"The Wave Runner is a fantastic way to get active, connect with neighbors and support our Parent Association’s efforts," officials said.
Participants of all ages can choose the race that suits them best: the challenging 5K, the quick one-mile run or the fun, no-cost 100-yard dash.
After crossing the finish line, participants and spectators can enjoy a breakfast from Chatter Box food truck, warm beverages from Summer Sun Coffee, activities for children and time to explore St.
Nicholas School’s campus.
"St. Nicholas School is grateful to be part of this wonderful Chattanooga community and we’re eager to celebrate our neighbors on the east side of the city," said Preston Steger, the school's director of marketing & communications. "Everyone from Chattanooga and beyond is invited to join us and partake in the fun."
"Your $25 registration for the one-mile or 5K race supports the Parent Association’s ongoing work and makes the 100-yard dash possible. Not racing? No problem. Bring a lawn chair, cheer on the runners and enjoy the fun atmosphere," officials said.
