Core Homes, in conjunction with the 1890 Days Jamboree, announce the third annual St Jude Depot Dash 5k and Fun Run that kicks off the Saturday festivities of the Ringgold 1890’s Day Jamboree. The 5k Fun Run will be the morning of Saturday, May 24, before the Jamboree parade.
“We are excited to partner with the city of Ringgold to add another event to the highly successful 1890’s Jamboree Days festival while raising funds for the St Jude Children’s Hospital,” says Cheryl Moore, Depot Dash race director.
Both the 5k and Fun Run will start and finish at the Ringgold Depot at 8 a.m. The Chattanooga Track Club will be timing the 5k race. Runners, walkers, and strollers of all ages are encouraged to come out to support St Jude and wear their finest 1890’s fashions. The first 150 runners to sign up will receive a Depot Dash T-shirt.
Race awards will be made from lumber used to build this year’s St Jude Dream Home. “It’s good fun for a great cause," says Rodney Long, FirstBank.
Registration is open now at chattanoogatrackclub.org/calendar/events/st-jude-depot-dash-5k-2025. Pre-race sign-up fees start at $30 for the 5k and $20 for the Fun Run. A virtual race is avaialbe as well.
