The Columbus Clingstones broke out with a four run seventh inning to take a 5-1 victory in the opening game of the series Tuesday night at Chattanooga.
Reliever Brooks Crawford allowed four runs on three hits in two innings to collect the loss. The Clingstones pitchers scattered four hits by the Lookouts, all singles. Starting pitching Jose Acuna had another solid start for the Lookouts allowing only one run on two hits in four innings. He struck out five.
The Lookouts and Clingstones are back in action in Chattanooga Wednesday night at 7:15 for Chick-Fil-A giveaway night at the park.
