George William Bolton
George William Bolton, 91, of Chattanooga, Tennessee, passed away on Wednesday, April 2, 2025.
George was born on Oct. 28, 1933, in Jasper, Tn., to Walter and Rosie Bolton. George never met a stranger and had many close friends throughout his life. He served our country in the Korean War from 1951-54 in the U.S. Army. George was a strong Christian and was active in the AA community.
He was preceded in death by his parents; his son Larry Bolton; and his siblings, John Bolton, Marie Hobbs, and Bill Bolton.
George is survived by his children, Marlene (Bill) Zebleckis, Cheryl Glick, and Tony (Dawn) Bolton; his grandchildren, Ryan, Madelyn, Chrissy, Matthew, Gary, Andy, and Cory; and several nieces, nephews, and extended members of the family.
A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. on Monday, April 14, at the South Crest Chapel of Lane Funeral Home in Rossville.
The family will receive friends from 4-8 p.m. on Sunday, April 13, at the South Crest Chapel of Lane Funeral Home, 833 Chickamauga Ave., Rossville, Ga. 30741.
