The inaugural Babies & Blooms Earth Day Festival, a celebration of spring, sustainability and the beautiful beginnings of parenthood. will be held on Saturday, April 26 from 10 a.m.-1 p.m. at the INCubator, 100 Cherokee Blvd., on Chattanooga’s Northshore, for a relaxed, family-friendly event designed especially for natural-minded parents, expecting mamas and grandparents.
This indoor festival will provide opportunities for attendees to explore local resources for pregnancy, birth, and baby care; shop from vendors offering handmade and eco-conscious baby goods; learn about cloth diapering and gentle parenting; and connect with like-minded families in a warm, welcoming space.
Festival highlights include:
- The Great Cloth Diaper Change – be part of this global movement to raise awareness about cloth diapers.
All participants will change their babies’ cloth diapers at the same time -11 a.m. sharp.
- Community Connections – share your parenting journey, swap tips and meet new friends who care about raising babies with intention and love.
- Eco-Friendly Shopping – discover handmade, sustainable baby items and thoughtful gifts from local makers.
- Prizes & Giveaways – enter to win baby-friendly prizes while enjoying interactive activities for the whole family.
- Local Food Trucks On-Site – whether you’re craving a morning coffee, a hearty lunch or a sweet treat, enjoy delicious eats from local food trucks right outside the venue.
“This event is a dream come true,” said Chelsea McAmis, owner of Flappy-Nappies, Chattanooga’s only cloth diaper boutique. “We wanted to create a space where families can celebrate the joy of new life and the beauty of caring for the Earth. It's about connection, community and conscious parenting.”
Free parking is available near the SBDC and additional paid parking by Renaissance Park.
