Jeffrey David Terrell
Jeffrey David Terrell, 55, of Chattanooga, passed away on April 9, 2025, after a brave battle with cancer.
He was a graduate of Notre Dame High School, Class of 1987, where he played football. He went on to serve his country in the United States Navy after graduation. After he was honorable discharged from the Navy, he went on to Culinary School at St. John’s Community College in St. Augustine, FL. He began a career in Culinary Arts at the Cloisters in Sea Island, Ga., and then moved on to the Chattanooga Golf and Country Club, here in Chattanooga. Jeff was employed most recently with AAA Cooper as a line-haul driver.
He was a member of OLPH Catholic Church for his entire life. He also served with the Knights of Columbus.
Jeff loved going on golfing adventures with his siblings and his father. He enjoyed deer hunting with his kids and with his grandson, Harrison and hanging out with his cousin, Liane.
He is survived by his loving wife of 23 years, Kristi, his son, Taylor (Kristin) Terrell and his daughter Corine Terrell, his grandchildren, Harrison; Lucas; Elias; Phoebe; and Chloe, father, Charlie (Iris) Terrell and mother, Laura Terrell, brothers, Joe and Mike (Cheryl) Terrell , sisters, Tonya (Mike) Vandergriff and Kim (Buddy) Templeton , several nieces, nephews, and cousins and many dear friends.
He loved spending time with his family and faithfully prayed for them every day.
A funeral mass will be held on Saturday, April 12, at 1 p.m. at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church with Father Jim Vick officiating. The family will receive friends at the funeral home prior to the funeral mass beginning at 11 a.m. He will be laid to rest in the Mount Olivet Cemetery.
