Judith “Judy” Aline Richardson
Judith “Judy” Aline Richardson, 79, of Chattanooga, Tennessee, passed away on Tuesday, June 24, 2025.
She was the daughter of the late Claude and Helen Giles and was preceded in death by her brother, Gary Giles.
Judy worked as a bookkeeper for the family business, Richardson Machine Shop. She was a former league bowler and an avid Atlanta Braves fan.
She was a member of North Red Bank Baptist Church.
She is survived by her loving husband of 63 years, Estill Richardson, of Chattanooga, daughter, Vickie Dodson (Greg), of Dunlap, son, Duane Richardson, of Soddy Daisy, four grandchildren, Candace Plange-Ogoe (Axal), Cody Dodson, Duane Richardson, Jr., Tiffany Dodson, nine great grandchildren, two sisters, Janie Holt, Sandy Giles, both of Dunlap, three brothers, Barney Giles (Brenda), of East Brainerd, Danny Giles (Pat), of Harrison, Ray Giles, of Soddy Daisy, and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. on Monday, June 30, at the North Chapel of Chattanooga Funeral Home with Pastor Roger Redmond officiating. Interment will follow in Hamilton Memorial Gardens.
The family will receive friends from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Monday, June 30, at the funeral home.
