Some sports fans remember Ray Brent Marsh more for his football heroics than for being the operator of a crematory that is being investigated at Noble, Ga.
He was a star lineman for the LaFayette High School Ramblers before going on to play for the UTC Mocs the 1993, 1994 and 1995 seasons.
At LaFayette High, he won the Rambler Award and the Hustler Award for the football team.
He was also captain of the track team and was named sprinter of the year.
Marsh had perfect attendance his senior year at LaFayette High.
At UTC, he was a 6'2", 214-pound linebacker who started four games his senior years and had a career 81 tackles.
