Farwell, Clayton Ralph

Clayton Ralph Farwell, 67, died December 2, 2004.

Mr. Farwell was a native of Baldwinville, MA, but was currently residing in Morrison, TN.

He was retired from the ministry and had recently returned to help the Georgia-Cumberland Conference of Seventh-day Adventist. He previously was a youth director for the church’s Southern USA Church Region, as well as former President of the Kentucky-Tennessee and Indiana Church Districts. He was currently the Assistant to the President of the Georgia-Cumberland Conference of Seventh-day Adventists. He was also a veteran of the U.S. Army.

He was preceded in death by his father, Alison Eugene Farwell.

He is survived by his wife, Jo Coursey Farwell, Morrison, TN; mother, Marguerite Day Farwell, Kennesaw, GA; daughters, Jodie Davis, Spring Hill, TN, and Lorri Hunner, Sorrento, FL; sister, Bev Owen, Acworth, GA; brothers, Sonny Farwell, Oxford, PA, and Ray Farwell, Southport, NC; nine grandchildren, and one great-grandchild.

Memorial services will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, at Friendship Baptist Church, 461 Friendship Drive, Rock Island, TN with Elder Don Schneider, President of North American Division and Elder Gordon Retzer, President Southern Union Conference officiating.
