Jane Clements Maner, 71, died on Thursday, Dec. 29, 2005, at her residence.

She was born in Chickamauga to the late George Martin and Mary Hall Clements. She was a devoted mother and wife and a talented seamstress. She was a 1952 graduate of Gordon Lee High School and a member of Kensington United Methodist Church.

She was preceded in death by her daughter, Suzanne Maner; and a brother, George W. Clements.

She is survived by her husband of 53 years, Roy Maner; sisters, Anne C. Campbell, of LaFayette, GA, and Sue C. McDow (Dr. William McDow), of Kershaw, SC; sister-in-law, Louise J. Clements; and several nieces, nephews and cousins. She was a loving Nana to David and Will Berry.

Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday in the chapel with the Rev. Richard Clark officiating. Burial will follow in Garmany Cemetery, Kensington, GA.

The family will receive friends from 5-8 p.m. Friday and after noon Saturday until the service.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the charity of your choice or to Kensington United Methodist Church.

Family members would like to extend their appreciation to Hutcheson Hospice for their care and concern.
