Dragon Tales Live Is Here Aug. 5–7

PBS’s top rated children’s program, Dragon Tales is coming to Chattanooga, live and on stage at Memorial Auditorium. This musical mystery for young audiences features sing-along music, special effects and fun with Emmy, Max, Cassie, Ord, Zak and Wheezie.

VEE Corporation is bringing Dragon Tales Live “Missing Music Mystery” to more than 40 cities across the United States. Children The show will be live Friday, Aug. 5 through Sunday, Aug. 7 at the Memorial Auditorium. Tickets for four performances are now on sale.

After wishing on their magical dragon scale, Max and Emmy arrive in Dragon Land the day of the concert at the Singing Springs. The concert was off to a great start when, suddenly, the Singing Springs stopped singing. “Missing Music Mystery” follows the story of six-year-old Emmy, her four-year-old brother Max, and all of their dragon friends as they go on a magical adventure to solve the mystery of the missing music. While in Dragon Land, they all help each other overcome challenges and learn new ways to deal with their fears and problems.

Audience participation is encouraged and helps to create a unique theatre experience that teaches children cooperation and problem solving skills, said officials.

“Missing Music Mystery” is a Broadway-style musical and features the original voices heard on the award-winning television series. Authenticity and integrity of the PBS television series are maintained with costumes, scripts and sets created by VEE Corporation and its production divisions. Dragon Tales Live is produced in cooperation with Sesame Workshop and Sony Pictures Family Entertainment.
The performance on Friday, Aug. 5, is at 7:30 p.m.; on Saturday, Aug. 6 at 1 and 4:30 p.m.; and Sunday, Aug. 6, at 2 p.m.
