David Austin Asbury, 48, died on Wednesday, May 3, 2005.
David was a mortgage broker with Federal Home Mortgage. He was also an entertainer for many years playing and singing country music. David was a member of River of Life.
He was preceded in death by his father, Carl Asbury.
He is survived by his wife, Nancy Everett Asbury; mother, Judy Waugh Asbury; son, Michael Asbury, Knoxville; Rita and Phil Welliver, Brownsburg, IN.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. on Saturday at River of Life Church with Rev. Alan Crider, Rev. Dean Sikes, and Rev. Kenneth Holder officiating. Interment will follow at Lakewood Memory Gardens East.
The family will receive friends from 5-8 p.m. on Friday at the church, and Saturday one hour prior to service.
