Erlanger Healthlink Plus: Lupus Discussion

A discussion on “Lupus: Taming the Wolf,“ as well as hearing, memory, and sleep disorder screenings are among the offerings by HealthLink Plus, Erlanger's free membership program for adults, during the week of October 9-13. Events take place at Erlanger's HealthLink Plus office at Northgate Mall and at Erlanger Women's East. Programs and screenings are free unless otherwise noted, but registration is required.

Tuesday, October 10
Hearing Screening
8-11 a.m.
HealthLink Plus Office (Northgate Mall)
Licensed audiologist Terry Burbank, a Beltone hearing aid specialist, will
conduct free hearing screenings provide information on types and causes of hearing loss, on hearing aids and other treatments, and on how to protect your hearing. To register, call Erlanger's HealthLink at (423) 778-LINK.

Rolling with Strolling e-Motions
9-10 a.m.
HealthLink Plus Office (Northgate Mall)
Join Strolling e-Motions, Erlanger's free fun and fitness program for babies and their caregivers, along with other parents, grandparents, aunts, and uncles as they exercise and socialize while strolling their children through Northgate Mall. Get Moving with Strolling e-Motions
9 a.m. to 9:45 p.m.
HealthLink Plus Office (Northgate Mall)
Moms will have fun and get a comprehensive workout while exercising with their babies during this exercise class presented by Strolling e-Motions, Erlanger's free fun and fitness program for babies and their parents.

Exercise physiologist Manetha Woodard of LifeFitness, a joint venture
between Erlanger and Siskin Hospital for Rehabilitation, combines cardiovascular exercise with conditioning to enhance endurance, strength, and flexibility. For more information, call Erlanger's HealthLink at (423)778-LINK.

Memory Screening for Older Adults

Are you concerned about your memory or that of a loved one? Erlanger
