Panthers Finish Fourth In Thanksgiving Event

FREEPORT, Bahamas -- Brainerd's Panthers, coached by Robert High, finished fourth last weekin the Tabernacle Baptist Academy Thanksgiving High School Basketball Tournament.

Making the all-tournament team for the Panthers were Fred Sturdivant and Derrick Duncan.

Brainerd went 3-3 in the tournament, losing to nationally ranked (16) Pinewood Prep from Charleston, S.C., Columbia, Ga., and the host Tabernacle Academy team.

The Panthers lost by only three points to Pinewood.
