John Richard Pell, 41, of Chattanooga, died on Tuesday in a local hospital.

A lifelong resident of Chattanooga, John had been a customer service representative for several retail stores.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents, John and Una Matthews and Charlie and Zelma Pell.

He is survived by his parents, Richard and Elaine Pell; sister, Lisa McDonald; nieces and nephew, Ellen Marie Pell, Kelsey Hodges and Matthew McDonald; special great-aunt, Marie Miller.

A celebration of John’s life will be 12 p.m. on Friday in the Coulter Chapel with burial in Hamilton Memorial Gardens.

Visitation is from 4-8 p.m. on Thursday and one hour before services on Friday at Lane Funeral Home, Coulter Chapel, 601 Ashland Terrace.
