Clarice Duncan
Clarice Morgan Duncan, 81, of East Ridge, died on Wednesday, May 14, 2008 at a local hospital.
Mrs. Duncan was born in Bledsoe County, Tn., to Andrew and Althea Houser Morgan. She was a member of Jones Memorial United Methodist Church and the Colwell Sunday School Class. She worked during WWII with the FBI in Washington D.C. and later as a secretary for Rogers & Bailey.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Attorney Harold Smith Duncan Sr. and her parents.
She is survived by her children, Ron Duncan and wife Carolyn of Lakesite, Tn., Hal Duncan and wife Dayla of Chattanooga, Jason Duncan and wife Charlotte of Soddy-Daisy, Laura D. Duffy of East Ridge, and Mike Duncan of Jacksonville, N.C.; grandchildren, Andy Duncan, Tabatha Duncan, Austin and Hallie Stainton, Miranda, Emily, Alex, Maria, Tia, and Glendon Duncan, great-granddaughter, Josefina Duncan; great-grandson, Caden Hutton; brothers Glen Morgan of Norfolk, Va., and Jack Morgan of Chattanooga; and aunt, Eva Milliron of Pikeville, Tn.
Visitation will be from 6-8 p.m. on Thursday at the funeral home.
Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. on Friday at the funeral home with Rev. Mark Womack officiating. Burial will follow at Summer City Cemetery in Summer City, Tn. Pallbearers will be Rob Lampert, Mark Visage, Bill Muse, Wayne Thompson, Steve Jones, and Richard Wilbert.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Jones Memorial UMC.
Arrangements are by the East Chapel of Chattanooga Funeral Home, Crematory, and Florist, 404 S. Moore Road.
