Sad About The Closing Of The Cellar Restaurant

  • Sunday, August 10, 2008

I'm greatly disappointed to learn The Cellar Restaurant in the Tallan Building is closing.

Scores of regular patrons love the wonderful home-style foods, fresh salads, friendly service, and affordable prices they offer within a walkable distance of most any downtown office building.

In a tradition similar to the Home Plate, Read House Grill, and S&W Cafeteria, The Cellar provides a classic hometown feel to dining.

I sincerely hope Mr. Hearn and The Cellar resurface nearby and soon, because my lunchtime dollars will follow.
