The Classic Barber is Chattanooga’s newest upscale barbering establishment, focusing on men and boys.
The shop is located at 5475 Hixson Pike in the Realty Center complex.
It offers five barber chairs, two free play pool tables, big screen TVs and free coffee.
The Classic Barber is the vision of Dennis Wallace – owner/barber – who recently left his career as a department head at Memorial Hospital to pursue his dream.
Mr. Wallace said, “Everyone who comes into the shop says it’s the nicest shop they have ever seen. I wanted The Classic Barber to be unique.
“We offer services most barber shops and few chain shops offer, such as hot lather neck shaves, yet I did not want it to be a traditional old-time barber shop so we decided to have the upscale décor of the 50’s and 60’s along with pool tables, TVs, and neon barber pole.”
The Classic Barber is open Monday through Saturday.
