Roy Stonecipher
Roy L. Stonecipher, 80, of East Ridge, died on Tuesday, February 22, 2011 in a local hospital.
Mr. Stonecipher was a native of Sevierville, Tn., but had lived most of his life in the East Ridge area. He was the owner and operator of Roy Stonecipher Carpentry, a member of Carpenters Local #74, and the East Ridge Church of the Nazarene.
His wife of 64 years, Ollie Mae Stonecipher, passed away on Wednesday, Feb. 23.
Mr. Stonecipher was preceded in death by his parents, Thomas and Martha Jane Stonecipher, and several brothers and sisters.
Survivors include his daughter, Wanda Holder, East Ridge; grandchildren, Terri L. Parrish and Traci Marie May; great-grandchildren, Michael Morris, Alex and Dana Parrish, Mikayla Berry, and Dylan May; several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday, Feb. 26, at 2 p.m. in the South Crest Chapel with Rev. Denny Manning and Rev. William Bell officiating. Burial will follow in Lakewood Memory Gardens, East.
