Fly South in Nashville is launching their fly tying classes for 2011.

March 19th Troy Basso will hold a tying class for smallmouth bass flies. Basso has 10 original patterns being marketed by Idylwilde this season. He says the patterns have been tested on Middle Tennessee rivers and streams so they are specific to where we fish.

Classes are limited to 8 students. Tools and materials are provided at no extra cost. The class will run 6-8 hours and the cost is $75 per person.

Fly South is at 15 19th Avenue South, Nashville, TN.

Additionally the class will have the opportunity to break in the Fly South movie theatre for a sneak “pre– screening” of 5 films from the 2011 Fly Fishing Film Tour, that will be in town the 29th of March
