Largemouth, Musky Fly Tying Class

  • Tuesday, April 19, 2011

On May 14th Fly South in Nashville is hosting a tying for Largemouth, Pike, and Musky class at the shop.

Idylwilde signature tier Troy Basso will be teaching tying and fishing techniques for warm water patterns. The class will cover the entire water column from surface, subsurface, and bottom crawling patterns for largemouth, Pike, and Musky. He will be covering how to articulate your patterns to achieve better action in the water.

Being a native of the North Country he has spent a majority of his life chasing these fish and tying patterns to improve days on the water. If you take a look at the May/June Eastern Fly Fishing you can see a sampling of his patterns in the Innova-tive fly tier section.

For those interested in the new Towee Boats, manufactured right here in Woodbury Tennessee, there will be a custom Rivermaster boat on dis-play.

To sign up call Fly South at 615-251-6199 or contact them through their website at www.flysouth.net .
