Leading real estate investment firm Jamestown announced on Monday, its newest event at Warehouse Row, Street Food Tuesdays.
Making Chattanooga a part of the burgeoning street food movement that is sweeping the nation, six of Chattanooga’s most popular food trucks and food carts – Southern Burger Co., Famous Naters, Bull Dogs, The Crepe Outdoors, Good Dog Go and Dailey’s Delights – have committed to serving up delicious lunch bites every Tuesday at Warehouse Row, a mixed-use cultural destination for boutique shopping, cutting-edge design and gourmet dining located in downtown Chattanooga.
“We are so excited Warehouse Row is launching Street Food Tuesdays,” said Susan Paden, owner of Good Dog Go food cart. "It is such a great location and provides yet another event for local restaurants and foodies to get their food trucks and carts to the people.”
Vendors will be parked in the Motor Court of 1110 Market St., making it easy for shoppers, downtown tourists and nearby office personnel to take a break and beat the streets for lunch.
The weekly event, from 11 a.m.– 2 p.m., will kick off on Aug. 23, and continue every Tuesday until Oct. 25. Live music entertainment will also be forthcoming.
"Food trucks have increasingly grown in popularity over the past year and we want to bring that excitement to Warehouse Row,” said George Krauth, spokesman for Jamestown. “Warehouse Row is a dining destination, in addition to having great shopping.”
Additional food trucks and carts are welcome and encouraged to participate.
