Grace Club Holds Bake Sale Oct. 25

  • Wednesday, October 17, 2012

The Grace Club is holding a Bake Sale on Oct. 25 at Central Presbyterian’s Cooper House at 405 Randolph from 10 a.m. to noon. The proceeds will go to benefit the Village of Promise. The Village of Promise is a non-profit organization serving the needs of children and families from cradle to college in distressed neighborhoods. Its initial efforts are focused in the neighborhood surrounding University Place Elementary School and Westlawn Middle School.

The Grace Club, one of the oldest women’s service organizations in Huntsville, has some of the best cooks in town and you won’t want to miss buying some tasty treats for tailgating or family gatherings.

Included at the Bake Sale are pies, cakes, rolls, bread, cheese straws, soups, chili, vegetable & meat casseroles (most of these will be frozen), canned jelly, jam and pickles and much more. Raffle tickets will be sold the day of the sale.
