Johnnie Faye Page, 78, of Rossville, died on Thursday, March 7, 2013 at her residence.
She had lived most of her life on Lookout Mountain, Tn., and had lived in Rossville where she and her family owned Lookout Recycling since 2008. She was a member of the Temple Baptist Church and her passions in life were her family, traveling, flowers, gardening, going to flea markets, and meeting new people. She was happy as long as her family was happy.
She was preceded in death by her granddaughter, Jacqueline LaDean Page; parents, John and Mary Palmer; brother, Lois Palmer; sister, Louise Broome; nephew, Winston Broom; and son-in-law, Jim Johnson.
Survivors include her husband of 61 years, James C. Page; daughters, Debbie Johnson and Ruby Page; son, James L. Page; adopted son, daughter-in-law, and baby, Cesar, Sonya, and Saeny Compton; brothers, Floyd Palmer and Dewayne (Mary) Palmer; sisters, Opal Hill and Geneva Graham; grandchildren, James Johnson, Jeremiah Johnson, James R. Page, and Tiffani Blake; great grandchildren, Jackson Johnson, Tyler Johnson, Braden Johnson, Dash Johnson, Marisa Johnson, Keeley Page, Addie Page, and Katy Page; nephews, Junior Palmer, Steve Palmer, Gary Palmer, Charles Higgen, John David Palmer, Jimmy Palmer, Steve Broom, Larry Broom, Danny Broom, WD Pate, and Ernest Pate; nieces, Katherine Graham, Jo-Ann Metcalf, Wanda Pate, Melba Pate, Sarah Palmer, Susie Palmer, Lisa Palmer, and Melissa Rominger; and special cousin, Jan Ellison.

Funeral services will be held on Sunday, March 10, at 2 p.m. in the South Crest Chapel with Reverend Jeff Daniel officiating. Interment will follow in the New Home Cemetery in Henagar, Ala.
The family will receive friends on Saturday, March 9, from 4-8 p.m. at the South Crest Chapel of Lane Funeral Home and Crematory, at the end of Historic Missionary Ridge, Rossville.
