Reverend Rosemary Brown Speaks At United Methodist Women On Aug. 11

Brainerd United Methodist Women will host the Reverend Rosemary Brown as speaker for United Methodist Women Sunday on Aug. 11 at the 11 a.m. service.  She will be speaking on "Breath on me Breath of God." 

Reverend Brown is from Nashville and is pastor of the Monroe St. and Jordania United Methodist Churches.

She was a past director of Christian Education in Fort Lauderdale, Fla, and Nashville. During her 17 years as a DCE, she also served as deputy sheriff with Youth Guidance in Nashville.

Her efforts with United Methodist Women have involved her in many Schools of Mission, Day Apart Services, special retreats, and she was the bible study leader for the World Federation of Methodist Women in Singapore in 1991.  Reverend Brown has preached at 24 United Methodist Annual Conferences.
