Hamilton County PTA Hosts Summer Leadership Training July 24

Hamilton County PTA would like to invite parents, administrators, faculty and staff from schools across the Tennessee Valley to Tennessee PTA Summer Leadership Training this Wednesday, from 8:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. at Tommie F. Brown International Academy which is located at 718 East 8th Street, Chattanooga, TN, 37403.  This back to school leadership training is open to anyone from any school (public or private) with any type of parent group (PTAs, PTOs, booster clubs, etc.).  Anyone who is interested in increasing parental involvement in their schools is welcome.  Members of the Tennessee PTA Board Executive Committee and a National PTA representative will lead the training.


The cost is $5 a person for PTA members and $10 a person for non-PTA members.  Registration begins at 8:00 a.m.  Free parking will be available across the street in the First Christian Church parking lot. The registration fee can be paid at the door.

The Tennessee PTA Summer Leadership Training is part of the 2013 Tour de Tennessee.  Tennessee PTA will host trainings in four other areas of the state:  Knoxville, Memphis, Nashville, and the Tri-Cites area.
