Charles Jones
A man was shot at 100 W. 41st St.on Saturday afternoon. Charles Jones was pronounced dead at the hospital.
A few hours later, a 24-year-old man was shot and killed at Hixson. He was found dead inside a house at 1300 Hixson Ave.
Officers found Robert McClure suffering from a single gunshot wound to the head. Mr. McClure was pronounced dead on the scene.
A witness stated that Christopher Parker, 23, was the one responsible for the death of Mr. McClure. Warrants have been issued for the arrest of Parker.
Police got the call in that case at 6:01 p.m.
Hixson Avenue is off Norcross Road.
In the Alton Park murder, police said the victim was in an altercation with 3-5 other men, including one who had a stocky build.
They then began firing at him.
He was hit in the wrist and the lower abdomen.
The victim was 23 years old.
