A man was shot and killed while sitting in a car on Wheeler Avenue late Monday night.
At approximately 11:25 p.m., Chattanooga Police responded to a person shot at 2201 Wheeler Ave. Officers located a black male victim.
He was pronounced dead on the scene.

The victim’s information will not be released until the family has been notified.
