Deborah C. Hall Harvey, 66, of Rossville, died on Monday, September 8, 2014 at her residence. 

She had lived most of her life in the Chattanooga and North Georgia area where she was a member of the Mountain View Baptist Church.  In the 1970’s she worked for the Tennessee Highway Patrol and later in life she was a volunteer at Hutcheson Medical Center.  Debbie was always worrying about her grandchildren and her passions in life were “Scooter Poot’n”, reading, sewing, and crocheting.

She was preceded in death by her parents, J.L. and Pauline Harvey.

Survivors include her children, Deborah (Bill) Taylor of Chickamauga and Lester (Kathy) Grimes of Rossville; brother, Jimmy; sister, Sandy; grandchildren, Nikki, Rachel, Samantha, Dillon, and Amanda; and several great-grandchildren.

Graveside services will be held on Thursday, Sept. 11, at 12:30 p.m. at the Chattanooga Valley Baptist Church Cemetery with Reverend Eddie Frye officiating.

The family will receive friends on Thursday, from 10 a.m. until noon at the South Crest Chapel of Lane Funeral Home and Crematory, at the end of Historic Missionary Ridge, Rossville.
