David Lamar Wiley of Rocky Face, Georgia, passed away on May 22, 2025, at the age of 71.
Born on September 22, 1953, David lived a life marked by strength, service, and love for his family and passions.
He proudly served his country as a sergeant in the United States Army and was honorably discharged on Nov. 17, 1981. His time in the military exemplified his dedication and courage, qualities he carried throughout his life.
David was a man who cherished the open road, finding joy in riding motorcycles and following NASCAR with a fan’s fervor. These were not just hobbies, but lifelong passions that reflected his spirited nature and love of freedom.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Jack and Grace Wiley.
David is survived by his devoted significant other, Tina Sanson; his loving daughters, Kindra Wiley-Reynolds (Wesley) and Jacqueline Wiley-Abbo (Brandon); and his cherished grandchildren, Lilli, Elle, Chevyy, and Camara. He also leaves behind his beloved sisters, Jaqueline Bramlett and Elizabeth Waters; niece, Shania Waters; nephew, Damon Waters; and great-niece and great-nephew, Jax and Gracie.
David will be remembered as a man of strength - a father, partner, and friend who will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.
A celebration of David’s life will be announced by the family at a later date.
