Special agents from the Tennessee Bureau of Investigation have obtained an indictment for a Bradley County woman in connection to a forgery investigation.
At the request of 10th District Attorney General Stephen Crump, TBI special agents began investigating Carrie Beth Sullivan on July 22. During the course of the investigation, agents developed information that, during a civil court proceeding, Ms. Sullivan fabricated a court document which possessed the signature of a sitting circuit court judge.
On Oct, 13, the McMinn County Grand Jury returned an indictment, charging the 34-year-old Cleveland woman with one count of forgery. On Monday, she was arrested and booked into the McMinn County Jail, and she was being held on $5,000 bond.
