1 Person Dies After Vehicle Hits Center Barrier On I-75 Northbound

One person died early Sunday morning when a vehicle hit the center barrier on I-75 northbound.

At approximately 1:24 a.m., the Chattanooga Police Department responded to 1020 I-75 for a single-vehicle traffic crash.

A vehicle was traveling northbound on I-75 and for unknown reasons struck the concrete barrier causing it to roll over.

The driver of the vehicle was pronounced deceased at the scene.

Traffic investigators are working to determine the cause of the crash.
