Camper And Vehicle Destroyed By Fire In Soddy Daisy

A camper and a vehicle were destroyed by fire early Friday morning.

At 3:45 am, a 911 call was made reporting a camper and vehicle fire at 10323 Hamby Road (Sequoyah/Soddy Daisy area).

The Sequoyah Volunteer Fire Department responded and reported a 28-foot camper and vehicle on fire. The Sequoyah VFD immediately requested a mutual aid response for additional manpower and equipment. The Dallas Bay VFD and Mowbray VFD responded. Firefighters worked quickly to contain the fire from spreading to nearby vehicles.

The cause of the fire is undetermined and will be under investigation by the Hamilton County Sheriff's Office. No injuries were reported. Damages are listed at $10,000.
