High Charged In Theft Of Brand New Infiniti From Home Of Manager Of Mountain View 153 Dealership

Tshombe Khari High Jr. has been charged in the theft of a brand new Infiniti from the home of Mountain View 153 dealership manager Ray Standefer.

High, 20, of 4309 Grand Ave., is charged with theft over $10,000.

The dealership manager said he parked the vehicle in front of his house around 10 p.m. on Aug. 5 with the key in it and the doors unlocked.

on Aug. 14 just after midnight, patrol units got into a short pursuit with the Infiniti. Four suspects were observed exiting the vehicle while it was still moving in the area of 1300 Holly St. The vehicle rolled into a parked truck.

Police said the Infiniti was used in a business robbery on Aug. 13.

The vehicle was processed for fingerprints and some came back to High, who is the son of a former Brainerd High School basketball standout.

The dealership had purchased the vehicle about a week before it was taken and it was being used by the manager.
