Herbert Leinberger, 79, of Trenton, Georgia, died on Monday, February 15, 2016.
Mr. Leinberger was a member of St. Katherine Drexel Catholic Church and 4th degree Knights of Columbus. After 30 plus years of service with AON Corporation of Miami, FL he retired to the north Georgia mountains where he enjoyed wood working, playing golf, and all things music. He was a loving husband, father, and grandfather.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Karl and Maria Leinberger; brothers, Ted Leinberger and Carl Leinberger Jr.; sisters, Margot Leinberger, Mary Helzlsouer and Anna Klasmeyer; and daughter-in-law, Dee Keefner Leinberger.
Survivors include his loving wife of 32 years, Lynn Otto Leinberger of Trenton, GA; his children, Karl Leinberger of Sumner, WA, Mark (Dawn) Leinberger of West Palm Beach Gardens, FL, Herb Leinberger Jr. of Tampa, FL, Carole (Alfredo) Palmer of Newberry, FL, Rich (Pam) Leinberger of Fayetteville, GA, Sarah Leinberger of Lauderhill, FL, Martin (Marta) Leinberger of Coolidge, AZ, John Paul (Hunter) Leinberger of Durango, CO and Mark (Dana) Anthony of Port Arthur, TX; 13 grandchildren; one brother, Joe (Mim) Leinberger of Delphi, IN; and several nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to NRLC – National Rights to Life Committee at www.nrlc.org or to a charity of your choosing.
A memorial Mass will be held at 11 a.m. on Friday, Feb. 19 at St. Katherine Drexel Catholic Church in Trenton, GA officiated by Father Tom Shuler. A reception is following after Mass. Rosary service will be held at 10:15 a.m. prior to Mass. Interment and Funeral Mass will be held at a later date.
