Yee-Haw Brewing Begins Distribution In Chattanooga

Johnson City Based Brewery's Ales And Lagers Headed To Town

  • Wednesday, February 24, 2016

Yee-Haw Brewing Company is on the move in East Tennessee. Distribution of Yee-Haw beers will begin in Chattanooga on Monday.

Since opening their doors in July 2015, the Johnson City based craft brewery has seen customer support on a number of fronts, said officials. In addition to growing to over 500 distribution locations in the Knoxville and Tri-Cities areas, they also were recently named Top Brewery in Tennessee by Yahoo! Travel.

Brewmaster Brandon Greenwood said he is ready to introduce a new breed of craft beer drinkers to his line-up of drinkable ales and lagers.

For Chattanooga distribution, Yee-Haw will be teaming up with Carter Distributing. Carter Distributing is a third generation family business that has been serving the Chattanooga area for over 55 years. Currently, the company spans a nine county service area, including Bradley, Hamilton, Marion, McMinn, Meigs, Monroe, Polk, Rhea and Sequatchie counties.

Yee-Haw Brewing will be debuting their four flagship beers  — Pilsner, Pale Ale, Eighty Shilling Scottish ale  and Dunkel dark lager — in Chattanooga next week. Yee-Haw beer will be found on draft in area bars and restaurants, as well as in six-packs in local grocery and convenience stores, including Food City.

A preview event is being held at the upcoming Gary Clark, Jr “The Story of Sonny Boy Slim” concert at the Tivoli Theatre on Wednesday. The Yee-Haw team will be sampling the beers while supplies last, and the Pale Ale and Dunkel will be available for sale. A series of launch events at Chattanooga area restaurants and bars are planned for the coming weeks. Currently scheduled events include the below.
