Lola Christine Dooley
Lola Christine Dooley, 90, of Rossville, Georgia, died on Tuesday, August 16, 2016, at a local health care facility.
Mrs. Dooley was born in Rossville, on March 11, 1926, to the late Lewis and Eula Mae White. She was a member of Newnan Springs Methodist Church where she enjoyed singing in the choir. She was previously employed as a legal secretary with Willard Law Firm, Steve Tingle Law Firm and was also a secretary with the Georgia Department of Labor. She also volunteered her time with the Red Hats Society, Walker County Genealogy Society and helping the homeless with Rossville First Baptist Church. She had a joyful heart and was always caring for others. She loved her family and will be missed by all who knew her.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Martell Dooley, three daughters, Brenda Dooley, Theresa Dooley and Nancy Dooley, sisters, Louise (Bill) Foster, Vera (Ray) Dickert, Anita (Herbert) Germann and Joy (Ed) Doss.
Survivors include her daughter, Cindy (Michael) Whigham, of Rossville, sister, Jeanne Cofield of Charlotte, N.C., and brother, Roy White of Manhattan, Mt.
Graveside services will be held at 10 a.m. on Aug. 19, at Lakewood Memory Gardens South.

The family will receive friends from 4-8 p.m. on Aug. 18, at the South Crest Chapel of Lane Funeral Home and Crematory, at the end of historic Missionary Ridge, Rossville.
