Chattanooga is on a five-game win streak that includes a road win at Indiana and a sweep of the Challenge in Music City with wins over Northwestern, Georgetown and Auburn. Saturday's game against UT Martin is a double-header with the Chattanooga men who will also host the Skyhawks.

Chattanooga and UT Martin first met in 1975 in the Mocs’ first season as a varsity team.

Chattanooga won the first eight games and have won the last three, all in the past three seasons. The Skyhawks lone win was in 1997 in a neutral game at the Cincinnati Bear Cat Invitational. Chattanooga has won all four games at home.

The Mocs started the season at 0-3 for the first time since 2010-11 but have since strung together five consecutive victories. Chattanooga claimed the Challenge in Music City title beating Northwestern (61-44), Georgetown (54-41) and Auburn (50-41), holding all three opponents to less than 50 points each. Aryanna Gilbert is second on the team in scoring with 12 points and 5.1 rebounds per game. She is 10-of-10 from the free throw line and has 12 3-pointers on the year. Lakelyn Bouldin is the third UTC player in double figures with 11.8 points and is 16-of-36 from the 3-point line.

The Skyhawks have won back-to-back games to even out their record beating Southern Conference opponent Western Carolina (62-54) and North Carolina A&T (76-63).
