Ellen Brown
Ellen Diane McCray Brown, 64, of Chattanooga, passed away on Tuesday, November 27, 2018, in a local health care facility.
She graduated from Riverside High School class of 1971. She was a member of Olivet Baptist Church.
Ellen was preceded in death by her father, O’Dell Tiller, Sr.
Survivors include her husband of 11 years, Samuel Brown; son, Rasheem (Kandra) McCray; daughter, Ebony McCray (George Shropshire); mother, Henrietta Tiller; brothers, O’Dell (Claudette) Tiller, Jr. and Alan (Rosalyn) Tiller, all of Chattanooga; six grandchildren; niece, Bianca Tiller; a host of cousins; other relatives and friends.
She will lie in state on Tuesday, Dec. 4, at 9 a.m. at Taylor Funeral Home.
Funeral services will follow at noon at Olivet Baptist Church with Bishop Kevin L. Adams, Sr., as the eulogist.
Burial will be in Chattanooga National Cemetery.
