Man Standing By Apison Pike After Getting A Flat On His Trailer Is Struck And Killed; Victim Was Richard B. Lamneck, 46, Of Cleveland

A pedestrian who was by Apison Pike due to a flat tire on his trailer was struck and killed on Tuesday night. He was identified as Richard B. Lamneck, 46, of Cleveland, Tn.
 
At approximately 6:15 p.m., Hamilton County Sheriff’s Office deputies responded to the 12,600 block of Apison Pike for the report of an accident involving two vehicles. 

According to the preliminary investigation, a Ford F-250 was stopped in the eastbound lane due to a flat tire on a trailer it was hauling.
The pedestrian was on the left side of the trailer when the trailer and pedestrian were struck by a Ford F-150 going east on Apison Pike. 

Mr. Lamneck was pronounced dead at the scene. 

Hamilton County Sheriff's Office traffic investigators are continuing to investigate the incident.
