6 Arrested In East Lake In Prostitution Sting

Members of the Chattanooga Police Department Narcotics and Vice Units conducted a reverse prostitution sting on Wednesday in the East Lake area at several addresses where complaints have been received. The following suspects were charged:

Jhony Eddy (male, 18) - Patronizing Prostitution
Thomas Eugene Yarborough (male, 65) - Patronizing Prostitution
Thomas Mon  (male, 48) - Patronizing Prostitution
Walfre Garcia Martinez (male, 35) - Patronizing Prostitution
William Harp  (male, 67) - Patronizing Prostitution/Indecent Exposure
Dennis Terry  (male, 64) - Patronizing Prostitution

Under TCA 39-13-512 -- 39-13-515...

"Patronizing prostitution" means soliciting or hiring another person with the intent that the other person engage in prostitution, or entering or remaining in a house of prostitution for the purpose of engaging in sexual activity. "Prostitution" means engaging in, or offering to engage in, sexual activity as a business or being an inmate in a house of prostitution or loitering in a public place for the purpose of being hired to engage in sexual activity.
