Free Blood Lead Screenings Offered For Children Under Age Of 6 On Saturday

There will be free blood lead screenings offered for children under the age of six who live in south Chattanooga in one of the eight neighborhoods affected by soil lead contamination, which include: Southside Gardens, Cowart Place, Oak Grove, Alton Park, East Lake, Jefferson Heights, Highland Park and Richmond.

The screenings are provided by UTC and Lions Club and available at the Cempa Community Health Fair at Howard School from 11 a.m.-3 p.m. on Saturday.
