Isaac Duncan III Sculpture Exhibit to Open At Southern Adventist University

The School of Visual Art and Design at Southern Adventist University will host the “From the Floor to the Wall” exhibit by sculpture artist Isaac Duncan III. The public is invited to the opening on Thursday, Oct. 24, at 6 p.m. in the John C. Williams Art Gallery in Brock Hall. The sculptures will remain on display through Dec. 2.

Mr. Duncan is an accomplished sculptor from Brooklyn, N.Y., who is currently based in Chattanooga. He has his own studio, Duncan Sculpture and Services, and many of his pieces can be found around Chattanooga, such as the “A Place in the Woods” installment at the Hunter Museum of Art downtown.

Past-president of Mid-South Sculpture Alliance, Mr. Duncan remains active in several local organizations, including Sculpture Fields at Montague Park and ArtsBuild, as well as Nashville’s Tennessee Arts Commission and the Arts Education Funds for At-Risk Youth.
